SprayCLEAN machines use the power of pressurised jets of water combined with chemicals added to the water to degrease and clean. The SprayCLEAN machines do not require full submersion of the part in order to clean it (as in ultrasonics).
SprayCLEAN machines come in two basic types, the top loading machine, where the lid is lifted with the aid of gas struts and the parts to be cleaned placed into a basket. The baskets is then rotated as the water and chemical solution is sprayed over the parts to clean them. The top loading machine is suitable for lightweight or small components/parts.
The other type is the side loading machine. Parts are loaded into a basket which cn be wheeled out of the cleaning machine on a wheel and rail system. The items to be cleaned are placed into the basket and the basket pushed into the cleaning chamber. The lid for the machine is then closed on pneumatic cylinders and the cleaning process begins. The SprayCLEAN 120 also comes with the option of a dryer, rather than relying solely on the heat of the parts to evaporate the water, the drying unit ensures that the parts are free from excess water when removed from the machine.
Other optional items include oil skimmers and pump filters.
